The FedEx Cup playoffs continue on Thursday when the first round of the 2012 BMW Championship gets underway at Crooked Stick Golf Club in Indiana. At this time, Ian Poulter, Bo Van Pelt, Zach Johnson and Tiger Woods sit atop the leaderboard all tied for first with a 4-under par.

Poulter started on the back nine and is halfway through his round. He managed to register five birdies thus far but also lost a stroke when he earned a bogey on his fifth hole of the day (14). Much like Poulter, Woods started on the back nine, registered five birdies and ended with a bogey on 14.

Johnson also started on the back nine, shooting consecutive birdies on holes 11 and 12 and an eagle on his sixth hole (15).

Van Pelt started on the front nine and registered four birdies through eight holes.

West Chester native Jim Furyk currently sits at 2-under through eight holes and is tied for tenth place.
