Michael Vick's Injury History Doesn't Worry Eagles Coach Andy Reid

Michael Vick is always an injury concern for fantasy football owners, but Philadelphia Eagles coach Andy Reid has no such concerns about his quarterback's health. Reid had the following to say to WIP's Angelo Cataldi:

I don’t really worry about that. I want him to just go play and be himself. And there’s a time and a place where he knows he’s gotta get down or out of bounds, but other than that you go play. That’s what’s made you great, you play a certain way and you go for it. And this game, I think if you asked any player they’re going to tell you they gotta catch a couple breaks here and there with the injury bug. And so hopefully this is his year where he does that.

Vick has been recovering from a rib injury suffered against the New England Patriots in the Eagles' second preseason game, but the team insists that he's still on track to start their opener against the Cleveland Browns. The game can be seen at 1 p.m. ET this Sunday on Fox.
