BMW Championship Leaderboard: Rory McIlroy Off To Hot Start, Tied For Lead Early In Second Round

Rory McIlroy has birdied his first two holes of the day and sits tied atop the BMW Championship leaderboard with Bo Van Pelt at 10-under on Friday in early second round play at Crooked Stick Golf Club in Carmel, Ind.

American Ryan Moore just finished the front nine at 4-under, tying him for the lead at 10-under as well, while a duo of Graeme McDowell and Seung-yul Noh are off to blistering 4-under par starts to their rounds and are tied for third place at 8-under with two others in the third leg of the FedEx Cup playoffs.

Tiger Woods is even par through three holes in his second round so far, currently good for a tie for tenth place at 7-under. Pennsylvania native Jim Furyk is even par through three as well, and remains seven strokes off the lead at 3-under par.

Tee times were pushed up to begin earlier this morning due to threats of afternoon thunderstorms.
