When the Sixers were at their worst, Dorell Wright was at his best. The veteran swingman was "the one ray of sunshine" during the team's five-game losing streak, coach Doug Collins said Friday night, before the slump ended with a victory over Atlanta.
Now the question is, can Wright continue to chase the clouds away? Because the Sixers need him, now more than ever. They need him to be a consistent factor off their bench, which lacks the punch it packed in Collins' first two years on the job. They need him to step up during the potentially season-defining eight-game road trip that begins Sunday in Brooklyn.
