Video: Joe Paterno Addresses Fans Outside Of His Home

Throngs of students and reporters showed up in front of the house of Penn State head coach Joe Paterno tonight cheering "let Joe stay" amid rumors that support for the coach among Penn State trustees was waning and he could be on his way out.

The criticism of Paterno has centered around his grand jury testimony in which he said he was told by a graduate assistant who witnessed former defensive coordinator Jerry Sandusky fondling a young boy in a team shower. Paterno did alert Athletic Director Tim Curley to the allegations, but critics have said that he simply didn't do enough and the result of that inaction is that more children were molested by Sandusky. PA State Police Commissioner Frank Noonan says that he doesn't think Paterno or the other PSU officials fulfilled their "moral duty" of protecting the victims in this case.

Paterno addressed the crowd. Check it out, it was a pretty crazy scene.
