While Penn State has an oft-ridiculed loss to Maine on its profile, it now have five wins against the RPI Top 50 as well. Thanks to today's victory over the Spartans and last night's over Wisconsin, the Lions can also claim two quality victories away from State College, which was a major gap in their case for selection up until this week.

Of course, Penn State can take the decision out of the selection committee's hands with a win over Ohio State tomorrow as that would earn them the Big 10's automatic bid. One of the key games for Penn State fans to keep an eye on tomorrow is the Atlantic 10 tournament final between Richmond and Dayton. In all likelihood, Richmond is heading to the dance win or lose. Dayton's only chance at a tournament berth is the A-10's automatic bid. If they do win, they'll kick out one of the bubble teams like Penn State. Our man Kevin Owens is in Atlantic City covering the A-10 tourney, so be sure to check out our stream for that event.
