Penn State (9-10, 1-5) has lost three consecutive outings since a 20-point win against Purdue two weeks ago. The Nittany Lions shot just 30 percent Sunday afternoon against Minnesota, falling 80-66 despite a career-high 22 points from Cammeron Woodyard and 20 points from team leading scorer Tim Frazier.

Illinois (15-3, 4-1) has not lost since a setback to Purdue almost three weeks ago. The Illini defeated No. 5 Ohio State 79-74 on Jan. 10 behind 43 points from Brandon Paul, but have not played in more than a week. Paul leads the team with 13.8 points per game while teammates D.J. Richardson and Meyers Leonard each chip in 13 points a night.
