College football 2012 schedule: Penn State and Temple host conference foes

Penn State welcomes No. 24 Northwestern to Happy Valley as Temple hosts South Florida in Big East play.

The Penn State Nittany Lions have won three straight games after a disappointing 0-2 start and now look to move to 2-0 in the Big Ten when they host the No. 24 Northwestern Wildcats on Saturday. Penn St. is 1-0 in the Big Ten after defeating Illinois last week and look to stay on top of the Leaders division by handing Northwestern its first loss of the season on Saturday.

Temple has not played since losing to Penn State on Sept. 22, and looks to open Big East play with a win on Saturday when it hosts South Florida. The Bulls are 0-1 in conference play and have lost three straight games, although two of those have come against teams currently ranked in the top 25.
