The Penn State Nittany Lions lost to the Nebraska Cornhuskers 32-23 on Saturday, Nov. 10 and as a result, did not earn a single vote in the SB Nation BlogPoll Top 25. For the five previous weeks Penn State had received at least some votes in the BlogPoll, but after falling to 6-4 they did not garner any votes.
After beating Penn State, the Nebraska Cornhuskers moved up to No. 15, up two spots from last week. A total of three Big Ten teams are in the top 25 this week. Ohio State fell two spots down to No. 9 after a bye last week while the Michigan Wolverines moved up to No. 24. Wisconsin placed just outside the top 25, at 28th.
Oregon is the new No. 1 team overall after Alabama fell to Texas A&M on Saturday. Kansas State is No. 2 and Notre Dame comes in at No. 3. The Crimson Tide slipped down to No. 4.
