College Football 2012 Schedule: Penn State hosts Indiana, Temple heads to Army

Just two games remain in the season for Temple and Penn State, and the Nittany Lions will stay in Happy Valley for the final two weeks.

The 2012 college football season is quickly coming to a close, with just two weeks remaining in the Big Ten regular season and three games left for most Big East teams.

Temple, however, has just two games remaining, the first of which is against Army this Saturday at West Point. At 3-6, the Owls have taken a step back this season and are fifth in the conference in their first season back in the Big East. Army played a ranked Rutgers team tough last week before things unraveled in the final 10 minutes. The option rush attack, which Temple also utilizes, has picked up steam in recent weeks. It should be a brutal grind-it-out game at Michie Stadium, with kickoff set for Noon.

Penn State is trying to rebound from a loss to Nebraska, and they return to Happy Valley for a game against Indiana. After a five-game winning streak, the Nittany Lions have now lost two of their last three games but the Hoosiers should not present the same kind of test as the Huskers and Ohio State. Indiana's been competitive at times this season, picking up two conference wins, but had their doors blown off by Wisconsin last week. The Badgers will come calling to Happy Valley next week to finish the season. Here's the Big Ten schedule for the week:

Northwestern Wildcats at Michigan State Spartans (12 p.m. ET, ESPN2)

Wisconsin Badgers at Illinois Fighting Illini (12 p.m. ET, ESPN2)

Iowa Hawkeyes at Michigan Wolverines (12 p.m. ET, ESPN)

Indiana Hoosiers at Penn State Nittany Lions (12 p.m. ET, BTN)

Minnesota Golden Gophers at Nebraska Cornhuskers (3:30 p.m. ET, BTN)

Purdue Boilermakers at Illinois Fighting Illini (3:30 p.m. ET, BTN)
