2012 NCAA football rankings: Notre Dame takes over top spot in BlogPoll

With losses by Oregon and Kansas State, the Fighting Irish take No. 1 in the Week 13 SB Nation BlogPoll Top 25, and hold a large lead on No. 2.

The Notre Dame Fighting Irish are the new No. 1 team in the SB Nation BlogPoll Top 25 after Oregon and Kansas State both lost last week, falling from No. 1 and No. 2 respectively. Alabama is the new No. 2 and Oregon comes in at No. 3. Georgia moves up to No. 4 and Kansas State settles in at No. 5.

Urban Meyer and undefeated Ohio State moved up two spots to No. 7 in the BlogPoll, tied for its highest ranking of the season. Meyer's new team comes in one spot behind his old team, the Florida Gators at No. 6. Florida State and LSU come in at No. 8 and No. 9 with Stanford moving up four spots to round out the top 10 at No. 10.

Penn State received three votes for the BlogPoll Top 25, one blogger ranked them No. 21, while two ranked them at No. 24.
