College Football 2012 Schedule: Penn State heads to Nebraska, Temple hosts Cincinnati

Penn State goes out on the road for their first-ever Big Ten game in Lincoln, while Temple hosts a Cincinnati team still in the hunt for the Big East crown.

The final month of the college football season continues this Saturday, and both Penn State and Temple have huge conference games on the slate. Temple's season went off the rails with three straight Big East losses, a streak they'll desperately try to snap at home against Cincinnati. The Owls have yielded points at a staggering rate over the past month, and now a high-powered Bearcats offense led by head coach Butch Jones comes to town. Their dual-threat quarterback, Munchie Legaux, has struggled recently but UC has still put up 30-plus points in their past two games.

In the Big Ten, Penn State will head to Nebraska in a cross-divisional clash. In their inaugural season in the Big Ten, the Huskers beat PSU, 17-14, in Happy Valley. It was the first game played after the firing of Joe Paterno, and now the Nittany Lions travel to Lincoln under dramatically different circumstances. Bill O'Brien's club responded nicely from the loss to Ohio State, wiping out Purdue to open the month of November. A ranked Nebraska team, however, is likely their toughest remaining test on the schedule. Here's the rest of the Week 11 Big Ten schedule:

Northwestern Wildcats at Michigan Wolverines (12 p.m. ET, ESPN)

Wisconsin Badgers at Indiana Hoosiers (12 p.m. ET, ESPN2)

Purdue Boilermakers at Iowa Hawkeyes (12 p.m. ET, BTN)

Minnesota Golden Gophers at Illinois Fighting Illini (3:30 p.m. ET, BTN)

Penn State Nittany Lions at Nebraska Cornhuskers (3:30 p.m. ET, ABC/ESPN2)
