Penn State vs Nebraska: O'Brien talks Nittany Lion secondary vs Nebraska WRs

Bill O'Brien is pleased with the improvement of the team's secondary.

Penn State head football coach Bill O'Brien stated on Wednesday that he is pleased with the improvements that the secondary has made throughout the season.

With the team set to take on Nebraska this Saturday, O'Brien is confident that the team's secondary group will be able to neutralize the Cornhuskers wide receiver corps, which is led by Kenny Bell. Bell currently leads the team in receiving, registering 622 yards and six touchdowns on 33 receptions this season.

O'Brien praised the work of secondary coach John Butler and credited him with the group's improvement.

"Sure. I believe they're one of the most improved units on the team. They're very well coached by John Butler. I think that anybody that's been to our practices and watches John coach those guys with detail and intensity and he's a teacher, you know, he accepts nothing less than their best. So I think he's done a great job with those guys."
