Penn State Vs Wisconsin: Nittany Lions Take On No. 14 Badgers

The Penn State Nittany Lions visit the No. 15-ranked Wisconsin Badgers Sunday in Madison, WI for a Big Ten Conference men's basketball contest.

Junior guard Tim Frazier has put together a fantastic collegiate-career at Penn State, but helping the Nittany Lions end a 17-year losing streak at the Wisconsin Badgers Sunday (4 p.m. on Big Ten Network) would be stuff that legends are made of.

Frazier enters Sunday's game needing just two points to become the first Nittany Lion to tally 500 points, 150 assists and 50 steals in a season, which has featured Penn State without a Big Ten-road victory. Frazier and Penn State (12-15, 4-10 Big East) are also looking to extend its current winning streak to three.

On Thursday, Frazier tallied a team-best 18 points in the Nittany Lions 69-64 victory over the Iowa Hawkeyes, and helped PSU earn consecutive victories for the first time since late December.

Meanwhile, the No. 15-ranked Badgers (19-7, 8-5) has shown some vulnerability at home this season, as they are 11-4 in their friendly confines. Wisconsin is also coming off a 69-55 loss to No. 7 Michigan State Spartans on Thursday.

However, already this season the Badgers beat Penn State, 52-46, Jan. 31, on the road.

Senior guard Jordan Taylor is Wisconsin's top scorer (14.5 point per game) and passer (4.2 assists per game), while junior forward Ryan Evans is averaging 10.5 ppg and is tops in rebounding (6.8 per game).
