2012 Penn State Football Recruiting Ranking: Nittany Lions Finish In Middle Of Big Ten

The Penn State Nittany Lions picked up 19 recruits in their incoming 2012 class but how did they stack up nationally and within the Big Ten?

Bill O'Brien's first class was nationally ranked as high as 39th by 247 Sports.com and as low as 50th by Rivals. Scout had the incoming Penn State class ranked as 49th.

In the Big Ten, Scout ranked Ohio State (3), Michigan (4), Michigan State (t35), Iowa (39) and Northwestern (48) higher than Penn State.

Rivals had Ohio State (4), Michigan (6), Nebraska (25), Purdue (35), Michigan State (39) and Iowa (41) ahead of the Nittany Lions.

247 Sports had Ohio State (5), Michigan (8), Nebraska (29), Iowa (37) and Michigan State (38) in front of Penn State.
