Big Ten Tournament 2012 Bracket Reactions: Predictions For The Championship Game

The Penn St. Nittany Lions were knocked out of the 2012 Big Ten Tournament in the opening round, but the event barreled on without them. On Sunday, the Big Ten Championship Game will pit the Ohio St. Buckeyes against the Michigan St. Spartans for the top prize in the conference and an automatic bid in the 2012 NCAA Tournament.

Plenty of Philadelphia area college hoops fans will likely still be watching and seeing how their brackets are going to shake out. Babaorealy of Big Ten blog BT Powerhouse rounds up some writer predictions for the Championship Game.

apy5000: Michigan State
Although the Buckeyes are playing as well as they have all season, Michigan State is built to defend Jared Sullinger. The Spartans have size at forward with Draymond Green, Derrick Nix and Adreian Payne. On the other side of the ball, Ohio State does not have a man who can guard Green one-on-one.

babaoreally: Ohio State
I like what I've seen from the Buckeyes in the BTT so far. Evan Ravenel has played well lately, and I think he will help balance out Michigan State's size inside. They're both pretty good teams that seem to be peaking in the right month.

There are more predictions to be found if you click through. Definitely worth a read.
