The selection show for the Women's 2012 NCAA Tournament is scheduled for 7 p.m. on Monday on ESPN. Baylor (34-0) is a lock to be the No. 1 overall seed. Notre Dame, UConn and Stanford are expected to pick up the other No. 1 seeds in the 64-team tournament.
Penn State (24-6) and Temple (21-9) will be waiting to see where they end up in the field of 64. Penn State won the Big Ten during the regular season with a 13-3 record but fell in the semifinal of the Big Ten Tournament to Purdue. Temple finished second behind St. Bonaventure in the Atlantic 10 Conference during the regular season and lost to Dayton in the semifinal of the A-10 Tournament.
ESPN's latest bracketology post has Penn State as a 3-seed in the Kingston regional playing 14-seed Tennessee-Martin. Temple is projected to be a 10-seed in the Raliegh regional against the 7-seed Nebraska.
