NFL Draft 2012: Todd McShay Has Still In First Round Projection

With the NFL draft drawing ever closer, analysts continue to release their most updated mock drafts.

ESPN's lead draft experts - Todd McShay and Mel Kiper, Jr. - have each recently published their third editions of their respective mocks, and only one of them has Penn State DT Devon Still as a first round prospect.

McShay sees Still as a fit for the Patriots at pick 31: Still could show more consistency, but if the Patriots get their pass-rusher at No. 27 and there are no viable options available at wide receiver, he would offer an upgrade over DTs Kyle Love and Ron Brace in four-man fronts. Playing alongside Vince Wilfork would help Still early in his career, and if he learns to play with better pad level he could become an impact defensive tackle.

Kiper, however, did not place Still in his first round projection.
