2012 Women's NCAA Championship Game, Baylor Vs. Notre Dame Halftime Score: Bears Up 34-28 At Intermission

The Baylor Bears led by as many as 14 points in the first half, before the Notre Dame Fighting Irish came back to make the score close at halftime. Brittney Griner has nine points and eight rebounds at halftime, but has made just 3-of-7 shooting from the field. The Bears lead the Irish, 34-28, through the first 20 minutes of the game.

Unsurprisingly, Skylar Diggins leads the Irish in scoring with nine points on 4-for-7 shooting in the first half. As a team, Notre Dame is shooting just 34.4 percent from the field, however. Griner has done a tremendous job changing shots in the lane, recording three blocks already. So far, the Bears are dominating the rebounding battle 25 to 15.

Destiny Williams and Odyssey Sims both chipped in eight points to help lead the Bears.
