Penn State, who earned their first win of the season last week will take on Temple, who looks to stay above .500 in a battle of schools with Philadelphia ties.

The Nittany Lions are 1-2 after beating Navy 34-17 and have improved each week under new coach Bill O'Brien. The Owls suffered their first loss of the season on Sept. 8, falling to Maryland 36-27 at home. The Owls are hoping to duplicate the success of their former MAC rivals Ohio, who beat PSU 24-14 in their season opener. Temple has not beaten Penn State since 1941.

There are some big games for Penn State's rivals in the Big Ten and Temple's new Big East rivals; including one other Big East vs. Big Ten game. Syracuse will head to Minnesota to take on the undefeated Golden Gophers. But the game of the week for the Big Ten will be No. 18 Michigan traveling to South Bend to take on No. 11 Notre Dame.
