Andre Iguodala's Big Night Not Enough As Sixers Fall To Hawks 104-101

Andre Iguodala was a few rebounds shy of a triple double and Elton Brand added 20 points and 8 boards, but it wasn’t quite enough as the Sixers fell to the Atlanta Hawks 104-101. As good as the Sixers vets looked, the young guys struggled. Rookie Evan Turner didn’t score a point in over 18 minutes on the floor, a stark contrast from his impressive debut. Mareese Speights played just under 3 minutes, didn’t score, and a turned the ball over twice.

Jrue Holiday wasn’t particularly impressive either scoring 8 points on 3-11 shooting. The Sixers did get a solid contribution from Andres Nocioni, who had his possible game tying three blocked as time expired.

The Sixers now head on the road for a matchup with the Indiana Pacers tomorrow night.
