The Sixers held their annual media day today and of course Andre Iguodala was asked about the rumors swirling about a possible deal that would send him to the Denver Nuggets in exchange for Carmelo Anthony.
I don’t really pay too much attention to it. I have friends and family that ask me about it, but that’s about the only time that I hear it. But the reaction is that it’s a business. Those things are going to come up no matter who the player is. You have to feel honored somebody else respects your game and your work ethic. Where my focus is right now, along with Elton and the other guys, is to get this team where it needs to be."
If I had to guess how he feels from his comments here… I don’t think he strong feelings either way. He’s not angling to get out of Philadelphia, but I don’t necessarily think he’d be a crushed by a trade either.
