Former Sixers head coach Eddie Jordan didn't get another NBA job after he was fired in Philadelphia. In fact he didn't even get a college job.... or a high school varsity job... or even JV. No, he's coaching the Carroll High School freshman team this season.
↵The most amazing thing is that he's being paid $3 million to do so. Not by Carroll High though, he's getting that money from the Philadelphia 76ers who are still on the hook for the remainder of the three year contract they signed him to in 2009.
↵And frankly, I don't even mean this to make fun of Jordan. It's great that he's doing it and it's great for him that the Sixers money facilitates him teaching these kids. NBA players may have tuned him and turned on his Princeton offense, but I have no doubt that freshman in high school will learn a ton from a guy with the experience of Eddie Jordan and this will probably be a great experience for them.
