Jrue Holiday Selected For NBA's Rookie Challenge

One of the events of NBA's All Star weekend is the rookie challenge, where a team of NBA sophomores play a team of NBA rookies. The Sixers have one sophomore in the game, but their No. 2 overall pick rookie was snubbed. Jrue Holiday was named as part of the Sophomore team, who has won seven of the last eight rookie challenge games, but Evan Turner did not make the rookie team.

The rookie roster consists of Blake Griffin, John Wall and Eric Bledsoe, as well as Sacramento Kings center DeMarcus Cousins, New Jersey Nets forward Derrick Favors, New York Knicks guard Landry Fields, Minnesota Timberwolves guard Wesley Johnson, Detroit Pistons center Greg Monroe and San Antonio Spurs guard Gary Neal.

It would seem that Turner would have an argument that he's more deserving then Bledsoe.

The sophomore team is actually quite impressive with Tyreke Evans, San Antonio Spurs center DeJuan Blair, Golden State Warriors guard Stephen Curry, Toronto Raptors guard DeMar DeRozan, Chicago Bulls forward Taj Gibson, Philadelphia 76ers guard Jrue Holiday, Oklahoma City Thunder forward/center Serge Ibaka, Milwaukee Bucks guard Brandon Jennings and Portland Trail Blazers guard Wesley Matthews.
