Sixers Lead Heat 75-73 Heading Into Fourth Quarter

Down 2-0 after two games in Miami, the Sixers are showing signs of life in game three at home. Heading into the fourth quarter they hold a slight two point lead and if they can close this out, they’ll find themselves back in this series.

Jrue Holiday and Elton Brand lead the way in scoring with 17 a piece. Meanwhile the Heat’s scoring has come the usual sources, Dwayne Wade leads all scorers with 24 and Lebron James has 20. Wade is on the bench for the start of the fourth quarter with his left shoulder wrapped up in ice.

Doug Collins says the key for the Sixers is to rebound the ball better on the defensive end.

“We gotta rebound the ball.” Collins said. “We gave them too many offensive rebounds. That’s what happens. Lebron and Wade draw some much attention that when you come over to help there’s somebody else with the offensive board.”
