The Philadelphia Flyers play their second of four consecutive road games Tuesday night, as they visit the struggling Carolina Hurricanes in a Eastern Conference contest (7 p.m. ET on CN8) at the RBC Center in Raleigh, NC. The Flyers (24-12-2, 52 points) are looking to rebound from a 6-4 loss at the Ottawa Senators Sunday, while the last-place Hurricanes (14-22-7, 35 points) are just trying to get out of the cellar of the Southeastern Division.
On Sunday, Philadelphia allowed four third-period goals, including the game-winner with 1:11 remaining to lose to the Senators and split a weekend home-and-home series. The Flyers defeated the Senators in overtime Saturday, 3-2.
Meanwhile, the Hurricanes lost Saturday at the Nashville Predators, 5-2. So far this season, Carolina has dropped two of its three match ups against the Flyers, including a 5-3 home-loss on Nov. 14.
