Cavaliers vs. 76ers: Philly hosts young Cleveland team in preseason tilt

The Sixers will continue to experiment with different lineups on Wednesday night as they host another young and talented Eastern Conference team.

The Philadelphia 76ers continue their preseason on Wednesday night with a home game against the Cleveland Cavaliers. The game will feature two of the young talented squads in the Eastern Conference, with the Cavs trying to push their way up to the playoff territory the Sixers currently occupy.

Philadelphia is coming off a blowout home win on Monday, when they blitzed the Boston Celtics on the offensive end. Doug Collins is still experimenting with different lineups in the preseason, particularly along the front line. Spencer Hawes, Thaddeus Young, and Lavoy Allen were all impressive in the win over the Celtics. Wednesday night will present a challenge for the Sixers' backcourt, with reigning NBA Rookie of the Year Kyrie Irving coming to town. Irving is still working to establish rapport with Dion Waiters, the No. 4 overall pick in the 2012 Draft, who's currently coming off the bench for Byron Scott.

Tip is scheduled for 7 p.m. ET at Wells Fargo Center, and the game will be broadcast both locally and nationally. CSN will have coverage in the Philly area and NBATV will pick that up to provide coverage for the national audience. 950 ESPN will have the radio call.
