The Philadelphia 76ers will have to wait until Sunday afternoon to play their second game of the season, as they'll head to Madison Square Garden to take on the New York Knicks in a matinee game.

Philadelphia won its season opener at home on Wednesday, defeating Andre Iguodala and the Denver Nuggets, 84-75. The Knicks, meanwhile, open their season Friday night at home against the defending champion Miami Heat.

Other notable games on Friday include James Harden and the Houston Rockets taking on the Hawks in Atlanta, and the Clippers and Lakers squaring off in a battle of Los Angeles.

Saturday night features the Brooklyn Nets opening the Barclays Center against the Toronto Raptors, the Washington Wizards hosting the Boston Celtics and the Golden State Warriors visiting the Clippers on NBATV.

After the Sixers-Knicks on Sunday, the Raptors host the Minnesota Timberwolves on NBATV and, in the nightcap, the Detroit Pistons head to Los Angeles to take on the Lakers.
