With their victory on Friday night, the Philadelphia 76ers (11-8) moved to within half a game of the Brooklyn Nets (11-7) for second place in the Atlantic Division. The New York Knicks (14-4) have led the division all season. The 76ers have already defeated the Celtics (11-7) twice this season. The two teams meet again on Saturday in Boston.
In the Central Division, the Chicago Bulls (10-8) hold a one-game lead over the Milwaukee Bucks (9-9) and the Indiana Pacers (10-10). The Miami Heat (12-5) remain atop the Southeast Division despite dropping two games in a row. The Atlanta Hawks (11-5) have won two straight, and now trail Miami by just half a game.
In the West, the Memphis Grizzlies (14-3) hold the NBA's best winning percentage. Technically, though, the San Antonio Spurs (16-4) lead the Southwest Division. The Oklahoma City Thunder (16-4) sit comfortably atop the Northwest, while the Los Angeles Clippers (12-6) lead the Golden State Warriors (12-7) by half a game in the Pacific.
