The 76ers will host the Celtics on Wednesday night with first place in the Atlantic Division on the line. The two teams have yet to meet this season, but are seemingly heading in opposite directions.
The Celtics, who entered the NBA All Star break with a five-game losing streak, have won each of their five games since and have crept up on the struggling Sixers. Philadelphia has lost two straight and eight of 11 overall, and is at risk of falling off the top of the division standings, where they have been for much of the 2011-2012 season.
Points may prove hard to come by, as Philadelphia leads the NBA with an 87.5 points allowed per game average, while the Celtics surrender just 89.7 points per game themselves (third).
Tip off is set for 7:00 p.m. EST and can be seen locally on Comcast.
