The Philadelphia 76ers beat the Toronto Raptors on Wednesday night by a final score of 93-75. The win in the Great White North makes it two in a row for the Sixers who continue to give their playoff position in the Eastern Conference standings a boost.
Thaddeus Young led Philadelphia with 17 points. He also had four rebounds and four blocked shots. Nikola Vucevic has 12 points; Elton Brand had 11; and Spencer Hawes, Andre Iguodala and Lou Williams each had 10 points in a team effort. The Sixers hit better than 53 percent of their field goals, compared to just 36 percent for the Raptors.
Only three Toronto players finished in double figures for scoring. Alan Anderson and Ed Davis each had 13 points for the team lead. Davis also had 13 rebounds.
The Sixers host New Jersey on Friday, just three days after beating them on the road by a score of 107-88.
