2012 NBA Standings, Eastern Conference: Philadelphia 76ers Move Closer To Playoff Berth

The Philadelphia 76ers moved one step closer to securing an NBA playoff berth on Wednesday night, defeating the Toronto Raptors 93-75.

The 76ers remained in the Eastern Conference's seventh spot with the win, one game ahead of the No. 8 New York Knicks and three ahead of the No. 9 Milwaukee Bucks.

With only eight games left in the season, it is becoming more and more likely that Philadelphia qualifies for the 2012 NBA Playoffs. It's unlikely they'll win the Atlantic Division, though, as the 76ers still trail the Boston Celtics by three games.
