76ers Schedule 2012: Sixers Host Nets Friday, Get Weekend Off

It's highly likely the Philadelphia 76ers will make the Playoffs for the second consecutive season. With only eight games remaining in the regular season and a relatively soft schedule upcoming, the Sixers own a three game lead over the nine seed Milwaukee Bucks – who are fighting for one of the final two Playoff spots.

On the forefront of the Sixers cupcake schedule is a home game against the lowly and injury-riddled New Jersey Nets on Friday night. The Sixers are coming off an easy win over the Toronto Raptors on Wednesday, and beat these very Nets in New Jersey one night prior.

A lineup change which saw Spencer Hawes and Evan Turner benched, replaced by Jodie Meeks and Nikola Vucevic has paid off so far for Doug Collins and the Sixers – they're 2-0 since the switch. It's helped that they've played two bad teams, though.

The Bucks travel to Detroit to face the Pistons on Friday, and a loss could greatly increase the Sixers chances of making the Playoffs.
