76ers Vs. Nets: Sixers Lose At Home To Nets, 95-89

The Philadelphia 76ers lost at home in Wells Fargo Center on Friday night to the New Jersey Nets by a score of 95-89. This broke a two game winning streak for the Sixers and gives them a 31-28 record, which is good enough to put them in eighth place in the Eastern Conference and in third place in the Atlantic Division. The Nets now have a 22-39 record, which puts them in 11th place in the conference and in fourth place in the division.

Jrue Holiday led the Sixers with 19 points. Evan Turner came off the bench to add 18 points while Thaddeus Young, who also came off the bench, added 13, and Andre Iguodala scored 11. The Nets were led by Gerald Green, who came off the bench to score 23 points. MarShon Brooks added 22 and Kris Humphries chipped in 18. Jordan Williams also came off the bench to add 13 points.

The Sixers will look to bounce back on Monday evening in Orlando against the Magic at 7 p.m. (ET), while the Nets will look to build off their win Saturday night at home against the Boston Celtics.
