The Philadelphia 76ers will be looking to spoil the New Jersey Nets final home game in the Garden State with a win on Monday Night.
With a victory, the Sixers would clinch a playoff berth that will most likely result in a match-up with the Chicago Bulls in the first round.
It's been a roller coaster year for Philadelphia. The team was expected to be a borderline playoff team at the beginning of the season.
However, a great start on both ends of the floor led the Sixers to an incredibly hot start and what looked to be an Atlantic Division crown with the rest of the division in disarray.
Now, Philly looks to hold on to the eighth-seed and possibly pass the New York Knicks, only to get a second consecutive postseason date with the Miami Heat.
The 76ers are at least playing a bit better, coming off of two wins on the road against Cleveland and Indiana. A little momentum wouldn't hurt going into what promises to be a brutal first round.
First things first though, and that's securing a playoff berth. It won't be a sure thing playing a very fired up Nets team in their final farewell.
