Philadelphia's win at New Jersey on Monday eliminated Milwaukee's chances of making the playoffs, but the Bucks will still try to send the local fans happy in the home-finale on Wednesday.
The Sixers are tied with the New York Knicks for seventh place in the Eastern Conference, but New York has the tiebreaker with two games to play. Both Philly and New York play tonight, so the Sixers could possibly control their own destiny if they win tonight and the Knicks lose. If Philly loses one of its final two games and New York wins one, the Knicks would earn the No. 7 seed.
Philly will look to continue to its momentum, currently on a three-game winning streak, which has come after a 13-23 stretch that had the Sixers fighting for their playoff lives. Philly is 1-1 against the Bucks this year, winning at home and losing in Milwaukee 97-93 on March 5.
