There were premature reports that Derrick Rose had torn both his MCL and ACL in Saturday's game against the Sixers. Those reports turned out to be false. However; the official Twitter account of the Chicago Bulls just tweeted that, Derrick Rose is indeed done for the rest of the reason, with a torn ACL.
Breaking news: Bulls guard Derrick Rose tore his Anterior Cruciate Ligament (ACL) and he is out for the remainder of the season.

This news drastically changes the landscape of the 2012 NBA Playoffs. The Bulls were the number one overall seed and would've had home-court advantage throughout the NBA Finals. They've played well without Rose all season, but without him their chances of defeating an elite team like the Miami Heat are extremely limited.
It's not even a guarantee they'll beat the Sixers in the first round now. Game two is scheduled for Tuesday.
