2012 NBA Playoffs, Sixers Vs. Celtics: Philadelphia Down 38-36 At Halftime

The Philadelphia 76ers are shooting just 36.6 percent from the floor, but they are down just two points, 38-36, at halftime of Game 2 of their Eastern Conference semifinal against the Boston Celtics on Monday night. The Celtics are also shooting under 40 percent in what has devolved, perhaps unsurprisingly, into a defensive battle.

Jrue Holiday is having a nice outing for the Sixers, with 13 points and three assists through two quarters. Spencer Hawes has six points, six rebounds and two blocked shots already.Louis Williams, Evan Turner and Andre Iguodala are a combined 4-for-17 shooting.

Brandon Bass is the Celtics' leading scorer on the night with eight points, though that has come on just 3-for-12 shooting. Paul Pierce, Kevin Garnett and Rajon Rondo have five, four and four points, respectively, though none of the three have put up nearly as many shots as Bass. Rondo already has eight points.
