The NBA Draft can be a great time if you're a basketball fan. It's always fun to watch how the dominoes fall and to see who your team ends up with.

In the latest version of the DraftExpress.com NBA Mock Draft, the Philadelphia 76ers are linked to Austin Rivers, the point guard out of Duke University.

Rivers would be a fine addition to a team that looks to be on the cusp of becoming a contender for years to come with a young nucleus of talent. The guards in place are solid, but could really use another playmaker to add into the mix.

Obviously, Rivers has great blood lines after his father Doc played in the NBA for many seasons and of course is now coaching the Boston Celtics.

There won't be a more well-schooled athlete in the draft than Rivers, who has the benefit of his father and Mike Krzyzewski.

In the second round Philly has two picks and is mocked to take international star Kostas Papanikolaou, a six-foot-eight forward and Nihad Djedovic, also a forward.
