2012 NBA Mock Draft: Sixers Select Perry Jones

The 2012 NBA Draft is less than two weeks away, where the Philadelphia own three picks. On paper, this year's draft is expected to be deeper than year's past, so the Sixers will have a great opportunity to add an intriguing player to their young core of Jrue Holiday, Evan Turner and Thaddeus Young, with the 15th pick.

Jonathan Givony, of DraftExpress.com, recently published a mock draft for Yahoo! Sports. Here's what he has the Sixers doing in the middle of the first round:

15. Philadelphia
Perry Jones PF
20 years old; 6'11"; 220 lbs., Baylor, Sophomore

The Sixers are in a position to pick the best player that drops to them at 15, and Perry Jones is one of the most talented prospects in this draft. He can play alongside any of the frontcourt players the 76ers have at the moment, and would benefit greatly from the tough love of head coach Doug Collins.
