2012 NBA Mock Draft: Philadelphia 76ers Projected To Select Andrew Nicholson

In his latest 2012 NBA Mock Draft, Tom Ziller of SB Nation projects the Philadelphia 76ers to select Andrew Nicholson of St. Bonaventure with the No. 15 pick in the 2012 NBA Draft.

Nicholson is also reportedly drawing interest from the Houston Rockets (pick Nos. 12, 16 and 18), Denver Nuggets (No. 20) and the Boston Celtics (Nos. 21 and 22). The 6-foot-10 power forward averaged 18.5 points and 8.4 rebounds during his senior season at St. Bonaventure, leading the school to its first NCAA tournament berth in 12 years.

With a number of impending free agents, including Lou Williams and Spencer Hawes, the Sixers enter the draft with several needs. Sixers president of basketball operations, Rod Thorn, has said he would love to acquire an athletic big man in the draft.
