According to Steve Kyler, of Hoops World, the Philadelphia 76ers were one of the teams to meet with polarizing prospect, Andre Drummond, at the 2012 NBA Combine.
Andre Drummond has met with Portland, Philadelphia, Charlotte and New Orleans... said meeting went great.
Drummond is universally ranked as a top 10 prospect and the other teams Kyler referenced all own top 10 picks. The Philadelphia 76ers aren't scheduled to pick until after the lottery, at pick 15. This could just be a case of Rod Thorn, Doug Collins, and the Sixers doing their due diligence. Or it may be an indication that the Sixers will explore their options to move up in the draft. Along with the 15th pick, they also own the 45th and 54th.
The Sixers desperately need big men. Andre Drummond is just that.
