Lou Williams Free Agency: Sixers Guard Reportedly Will Go To Atlanta Hawks

Free agent Philadelphia 76ers guard Lou Williams has agreed to a deal with the Atlanta Hawks, according to a report (via ESPN). Williams, a former second-round NBA Draft pick of the Sixers has played for the organization since 2005.

Williams, who was mostly used off the bench in his Philadelphia career, opted out of the final year of his five-year contract earlier this summer.

Williams averaged 14.9 points, 2.5 rebounds and 3.5 assists in 26.3 minutes per game for the Sixers in 2011-2012. For his career, Williams averages 11.3 points, 3.0 assists and 2.0 rebounds per game. His scoring numbers last season were a career-high and led the Sixers despite not being a starter (the first player to accomplish this feat since Dell Curry of the Charlotte Hornets in 1993-1994).
