Dorell Wright Trade: Sixers Reportedly Acquire Forward From Warriors For Player To Be Named Later

The Philadelphia 76ers have reportedly acquired Dorell Wright from the Golden State Warriors for a player to be named later. Update (6:23 p.m.): It was previously reported that the Sixers were giving up a future draft pick to acquire Wright (via CSN Philly).

Wright averaged 10.3 points, 4.6 rebounds, 1.5 assists and 1 steal per game last season for the Warriors in 27 minutes per game. Wright is a career 36.5% three-point shooter and averages 1.1 made threes per game.

The Warriors have reportedly been trying to move Wright since before the NBA Draft. Wright's contract was expiring which made him an easy target to put on the trade block. Wright was a starter for Golden State and played 143 games at the small forward position for the Warriors in his two seasons with the club.
