Xavier Silas Injury Update: Possible Skull Fracture For Philadelphia 76ers' Guard

Philadelphia 76ers guard Xavier Silas was struck in the head during his team's game at the Orlando Pro Summer League on Friday and the team is worried he might have fractured his skull, according to an NBA TV report.

During the game's live telecast, Rick Kamla reported that Silas suffered a concussion and was taken to the hospital amid concern that he might also have a skull fracture.

The 24-year old guard saw action in two regular season games with the Sixers last season, totaling 11 points, four rebounds and three assists over 39 minutes. He was one of Philadelphia's last cuts in training camp last year, but re-signed with the team on April 24.

The 6-foot-5, 205-pounder finished his college career at Northern Illinois after beginning it at Colorado.
