Orlando Pro Summer League 2012: Philadelphia 76ers Fall To Detroit Pistons, Lose Xavier Silas To Head Injury

The Philadelphia 76ers fell to the Detroit Pistons on Friday at the 2012 Orlando Pro Summer League, 71-67, but they have a considerably more pressing concern to worry about.

Guard Xavier Silas was reportedly taken to the hospital with a concussion after an in-game collision, and the Sixers are worried he might have also suffered a fractured skull.

Devin Searcy was the only Philadelphia player to reach double figures, scoring 10 points in 19 minutes while adding 12 rebounds and three blocks. It was the 6-foot-10 big man's second consecutive double-double after registering 12 points and 10 rebounds on Thursday against the Orlando Magic.

Kim English led all scorers with 17 points for the Pistons, while teammate Austin Daye added 10 points, 11 rebounds and three steals.
