The Philadelphia 76ers have officially agreed on a deal to re-sign Spencer Hawes, the team announced on Friday.
Though the team did not release the terms of his contract due to team policy, it has been reported that he will receive $13 million over two seasons.
The 7-foot-1 center averaged 9.6 points and 7.3 rebounds for the Sixers last season. During the team's playoff run, he contributed 9.3 points and 6.6 rebounds per game.
The 76ers reportedly signed Kwame Brown to a two year, $6 million contract on Friday to join Hawes in the front court. They have also drafted Maurice Harkless and Arnett Moultrie, re-signed Lavoy Allen and allowed leading scorer Lou Williams to leave via free agency for the Atlanta Hawks.
