The Philadelphia 76ers will begin 2013 in the middle of an eight-game road trip and reeling from a December they'd like to forget.
Because of the team's recent struggles, which features losing eight of their last 10 games, the Sixers (14-17) are ranked near the bottom of nearly every NBA Power Rankings.
According to ESPN's Marc Stein, ESPN's John Hollinger and NBC's Pro Basketball Talk, Philadelphia is worse than half of the league.
Stein ranked the struggling Sixers 22nd out of 30 NBA teams in his latest power rankings, while both Hollinger and Kurt Helin of Pro Basketball Talk slotted Philadelphia 20th overall.
At the top of all of the power rankings were the Los Angeles Clippers, who were a unanimous No. 1 team. The Oklahoma City Thunder were slotted No. 2 in both Helin's and Stein's polls, while Hollinger ranked the San Antonio Spurs second.
