When Michael Vick proclaimed that he would only be out one or two weeks after sustaining a rib injury early on during the Philadelphia Eagles’ Week 4 loss, it sounded like an optimistic self-diagnosis. NFL players play through pain each and every week, but rib injuries can be particularly painful and difficult to manage. So, it may come as little to surprise that Jay Glazer of FOX Sports reported on Monday that Vick is a ‘long shot’ to play next Sunday against the Atlanta Falcons.
