This drive was all about rookie WR Riley Cooper. The Eagles tried a gadget play where where they began in the Wildcat and ended up tossing the ball back to Kevin Kolb who simply lobbed up a free pass to anyone that wanted it.
As Titans’ safety Chris Hope stood waiting for the ball to come to him, rookie WR Riley Cooper leapt in front him to make a fantastic 37 yard catch to give the Eagles first and goal. Two plays later Cooper ended up matched up with a LB and caught a 5 yard TD pass over the middle to put the Eagles up 10-7.
Funny enough, Cooper was also a baseball player in high school and was a draft pick of both the Philadelphia Phillies and the World Series bound Texas Rangers.
